Finals and Rosettes

We’ve got lots to celebrate at the moment and we wanted to share the good news with you.

We’re super proud to let you know that Donna is a finalist in, not one, but two, major industry awards this autumn.

She’s up against some of the South West’s top chefs in the Best Chef category in the Trencherman Awards 2019.

The other three contenders for the title are Bruce Rennie from The Shore Restaurant, Penzance, Jude Kereama from Kota, Porthleven and Matthew Beardshall from Wilder in Nailsworth.

These three are heavyweights of the culinary world and you may have seen Jude recently on TV when he just lost out to Tom Brown from Cornerstone in Hackney Wick in London during the Great British Menu.

The winners will be announced at the Saunton Sands Hotel on November 19.

She’s up for Devon Life’s Best Chef of the Year too and we’ll hear if she has won this prestigious accolade on November 15 at Sandy Park in Devon. It’s going to be a busy few days!

We’re also celebrating as we’ve been awarded two AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence for the fourthyear running and we couldn’t be more delighted.
