Our chef-patrons Donna and Paul Berry have a great deal of experience in the industry and are celebrating more than a decade working together here in the heart of Devon. Their ethos is to provide good food, sourced locally wherever possible, while supporting other small businesses in the community too.
Local farmers supply us with vegetables, eggs, beef, rare breed pork, lamb and poultry and the fishing communities provide us with their freshest catches.
On the menu at the moment, we have Exmoor shank of lamb, slow cooked blade of beef in red wine, confit duck leg from Creedy Carver, and a great choice of sweets to tempt you as well.
We still have a vibrant high street here in Bampton with a traditional butcher, a baker and greengrocers, all of which we use too.
