We have a passion for food and with this we like to embrace the use of local produce and create some real pub classics such as sausages and mash, cod and chips, pies, grilled rump steak and baguettes with a great choice of sweets to tempt.
Our menu is always created from local, fresh, seasonal ingredients on a daily basis by Paul and his team. We try to keep menus simple, yet bursting with flavours and imagination. From the freshly baked bread at the start of your meal to Paul’s very own sticky toffee pudding, we produce everything ourselves so that it is as fresh as it can be.
We are dedicated to sourcing the local or regional produce available to us, needless to say we are so lucky living here the West Country, we have the local farmers supplying their Beef, Pork and Lamb and the fishing communities providing us with the freshest Cod for our classic Cod and Chips.
We have the capacity to cater for 20 covers in our private dining area, over looking the picturesque St Michaels Church. Please contact us for more details.
Our menus change regularly with the seasons and availability of local produce or whenever Paul feels like trying something new, please check our menus page which will be updated weekly, to avoid any disappointment. Our daily menu is available for lunch and dinner on all days except Sunday where we have a Sunday lunch menu. We also have a daily specials blackboard with a selection of soups and specials available.
Sunday Lunch is always an important occasion, a time to sit, chat and eat together, to catch up with family or friends. We want you to enjoy a relaxing Sunday afternoon with us, we serve food from midday to 2.30 pm and offer a selection of roast meats with all the trimmings and some other dishes to choose from. Children are always welcome...
