Your chef for the evening will be our chef-patron Paul Berry, who co-owns our gastropub with his wife Donna, who is also highly acclaimed.
Between them and their establishments, they have won countless accolades including Donna being a finalist in the Devon Life and Trencherman Awards, as well as receiving AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence and top 50 Gastropub titles. Paul also secured a Michelin Bib Gourmand for the pub in Buckinghamshire he owned with his parents.
Paul, who has more than 23 years’ experience in the industry and is also co-owner of Spelt, which is an award-winning gastro pub, with Donna, says: “We are dedicated to using all the local or regional produce available and are lucky living here in the Westcountry, with local farmers who supply us with their beef, pork and lamb and the fishing communities who provide us with the freshest seafood.”
