As much as we are passionate about food, we don’t want to lose our identity as a great pub.
We’re all for you popping by for a drink and a chat at the bar or, on a cold day, in our cosy snug area by the fire.
We have all the drinks you’d expect a pub to stock including local artisan gins, continental lagers, fine wines and hand pulled real ales. We take pride in our well-kept ales, sourcing many West Country beers to whet the appetites of our regulars. There is also a wide selection of wines to suit all tastes.
We try to offer a diverse range of international lagers, beers and ciders, which is ever changing. If you have any particular requests or suggestions, please let us know and we will be pleased to add them to our collection, so that everyone can enjoy them.
Gins and tonics
We stock more than 35 different gins including quite a few from the south west and a new one called Gunpowder Tea Gin from Ireland, as well as Exmoor’s very own Wicked Wolf. It’s a premium craft gin distilled and blended not far from us in north Devon by husband and wife team, Pat Patel and Julie Heap. It uses 11 exotic botanicals producing complex layers of citrus and pepper notes, finely balanced with the distinct flavours of juniper and coriander. Hibiscus and kaffir lime leaves are blended with these traditional aromatics too.

We also stock Fever Tree Tonic, which is a blend of fabulous botanical oils with spring water and the highest quality quinine from the fever tree. It’s a delicious, natural tonic with a uniquely clean and refreshing taste and aroma.
