Escape to Devon for some R&R

R&RIf you’re looking for a country getaway where you can re-charge your batteries and get some rest and relaxation (R&R), then come and stay in our award-winning pub here in Devon from May 17.

We offer a tranquil retreat, with high-end food and accommodation, and a haven from the trials and tribulations of day-to-day life.

Whether you want to escape for a weekend relaxing in our friendly, market town or exploring Exmoor or fancy indulging in a longer break, Bampton is a wonderful holiday base.

We’re surrounded by the very best of the great outdoors! Breathe in the fresh country air, take in the scenery, feel the breeze in your hair and listen to country bird song around you.

With canal, river and lake fishing, valley and moor walking and cycling and horse riding on offer nearby, there is plenty to do here all-year-round.

We’re also not too far from some of the best beaches in the country on the north Devon coast.

Research has also shown that having some time in the countryside whether walking, admiring the view, or enjoying the magic of it all, can be a brilliant way to relax and is good for the mind as well as the body. This is now more important than ever to us all after the year and a bit we’ve just had.

After a day of outdoor activities, guests can unwind in our bar and enjoy one of our award-winning meals before having a good night’s sleep in one of our cosy, luxury B&B rooms.

We will be open to B&B guests from May 17, so get in touch today to book in for some R&R in the countryside!
