Prosecco Spumante Borgo Alto, Treviso, Italy – bottle £20.00
Delicately fruity, slightly aromatic bouquet with hints of flowers among which honey and wild apple scents are perceived. It is well balanced and light.

Prosecco Raboso Spumante Borgo Alato, Treviso, Italy – bottle £21.00
A delicate pink sparkling wine made from the Prosecco grape in the region of Treviso. It is fragrant with summer fruit aromas, fresh and lively on the palate, dry and crisp.

Champagne Gruet Brut Selection, Champagne – N.V. – bottle  £38.00
A light, fresh, vigorously youthful Champagne with a fine elegant,  slightly lemony nose, lively mousse and long, crisp palate.

Laurent Perrier la Cuvée, Champagne, France  – bottle £55.00
Medium bodied and very easy on the palate. Perfectly balanced and a soft mouth feel belies the strong structure of the wine. Finishes clean yet delicately lingers.

Laurent Perrier Cuvée Rosé, Champagne, France – bottle £70.00
Complex, soft and full flavoured with a rich raspberry-blackcurrant nose and palate.

Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut,  Champagne – N.V. – bottle £55.00
A lovely biscuity, appley nose and an almost apple-crumble palate gives out generous fruit overlaid with a yeasty toastiness. Great complexity and a pleasing depth.


White wine

Pinot Grigio Mr Goose…2016, Australia – Bottle £18.50
A light crisp pinot Grigio with a hint of apple, pear and citrus, with an elegant dry finish. A pleasant dry wine made to a fuller style than is typical.

Vistamar Brisa Sauvignon Blanc, Chile – bottle £17.00
Pale yellow with greenish shades.  Very intense and expressive reminiscent of grapefruit, green apple and pineapple with notes of white flowers, jasmine and orange blossom. Flavour: fresh and fruity, well balanced acidity and pleasant finish.

Sol Del Oro Chardonnay, Chile – bottle £17.00
A youthful and vibrant unoaked Chardonnay with gentle tropical fruit flavours.

Vondeling, South Africa – bottle £18.50
Aged this un-wooded white wine offers vibrancy fresh crispness on the palette.

Picpoul de Pinet – La Serre, France – Bottle £21.00
Surprisingly bright and fresh for a wine produced in such a warm climate. It’s rather like a fuller bodied Muscadet with plenty of citrusy fruit.

Aroha Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand – bottle £25.00
Lively, fresh cut grass nose with zippy kiwi fruit. Unmistakable wine! Green Opal Fruit (sorry, Starburst) flavours. Enjoy!

Chablis Bovier Et Fils, Chablis, France – bottle £27.00
A balanced and delicately supple buttery taste with a lively and lasting fresh finish.

Gavi de Gavi Toledana, Italy – bottle £26.00
Gavi, Piemonte’s most celebrated unoaked, fresh and minerally white wine, is made from the Cortese grape, grown in vineyards in the south-east of the region.

Chablis 1er Cru ‘Vaucoupin’ Colombier, France – bottle £35.00
From one of the largest premier cru vineyards in Chablis, consistently producing richer wine than is typical of the region.

Sancerre Blanc Salmon, France – bottle £29.00
Less herbaceous that most Sancerre’s, soft tones of ripe gooseberry  backed with mineral flavours reflecting the vineyards it comes from.

Saint Veran 2014, France – bottle £28.00
Characteristically uplifting aromas of almonds, peach and honey. This the landlords favourite.


Red wine

Les Ambassadeurs Merlot, France – bottle £17.00
Lots of flavour and colour with an aroma of spices and elegant scents of ripe red fruit.

Sol del Oro Cabernet Sauvignon, Chile – bottle £17.00
A vibrant wine, full of up-front blackcurrant fruit flavours and ripe tannins.

Mr Goose Shiraz. Australia – bottle £18.00
The nose is very expressive, offering an abundance of aromas. The palate is generous and concentrated showing blackberry, black cherry and plum flavours.

Alto de Mayo Malbec, Argentina – bottle £19.50
This Malbec is crammed with damson, blackberry and plum flavours, accented by touches of oak toast. Smooth, ripe tannins offer a silky finish.

Marques De Ulia Rioja Crianza, Spain – bottle £21.00
Aged in oak barrels this wine has a lot of finesse, with soft complex flavours of red cherries and currants.

Castell Tempranillo, Spain – bottle £20.00
Fruit and spice predominate on the palate, with a coffee, cocoa and vanilla finish.

Riviera Pinot Noir, France – bottle £18.50
An excellent young Pinot Noir, with good weight of fruit. Strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants on the nose and palate with lively acidity.

Barolo Tenimenti DOCG, Italy – bottle £38.00
Garnet red with orange highlights, distinctive earthy bouquet, nicely intense. Dry, full-bodied and mouth-filling wine, demanding but velvety and well-balanced. Perfect with aromatic casseroles and stews of red meats, truffles, flavoured feathered game and mature cheese.

Floral and red fruit aromas. Perfect to enjoy with lamb, chicken or pork it also goes well with river fish.

Chateau La Pointe Bouquey-St Emilion, Bordeaux, France – bottle £27.00
Deep garnet with a warm spiced bread and red fruit character; powerful, yet supple; with vanilla aromas on the finish.

Chateau Dufort Vivens Margaux, Bordeaux, France – bottle £69.00
A wonderful mouthful of raspberries, strawberries and cream yet with a dry crisp finish.

Buffalo Ridge Zinfandel Rosé, USA – Bottle £17.00
Refreshing and easy drinking with a slight sweetness and hint of ripe red fruits.

Syrah Rosé Fildefere Flip Top Bottle, France – bottle £17.50
A very refreshing wine with good body, subtle aroma, and soft dry fruit.

Boars kloof Pinotage Rosé, South Africa – bottle £19.00
Bursting with crushed strawberry aromas and flavours this is a well balanced Rosé with touches of spice, a soft, dry finish and a fruity aftertaste.
