When we opened up the latest issue of GQ Magazine, we were astounded to see that we had made it to the finals in the GQ Magazine Food & Drink Awards for 2020.
These are extremely prestigious awards as GQ Magazine is a household name. We’re absolutely thrilled to have made it to the finals in the Best Pub category.
The GQ Food & Drink Awards, presented by Veuve Clicquot, champion the very best of the British hospitality business.
GQ readers were asked to nominate their favourite restaurants, bars, hotels and pubs. All the suggestions were whittled down to create the shortlist.
The winners will be decided by a panel of expert judges, including GQ’s Editor-In-Chief, Dylan Jones, Michelin-star chef, Tom Kitchin and restaurateur, Oliver Peyton and will be announced at a ceremony in London on April 27 and will be listed in GQ’s June issue.
We’d like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who nominated us in the awards. We’re up against some seriously stiff competition, so we have our fingers firmly crossed for a win. However, just to be nominated is an honour.
