Friends searching for a place to meet up for a festive bite to eat and work colleagues looking for a venue for a works or office Christmas meal this year (2019) can now book up with us.
We’ve officially launched our festive lunch and dinner menu, which is focused, as always, on the very best Westcountry-sourced ingredients. Therefore, we’re taking bookings from Friday, November 29 until Monday, December 23.
Starters include Sipsmith’s lemon gin cured salmon and fennel pollen, capers with fennel salad and goats’ cheese fritters, pickled heritage beetroot, beetroot gel, candied walnut with burnt satsumas. However, there are other options available as well and full details can be found here.
For main course, we’ve a slow-cooked blade of Exmoor beef, burnt onion puree, heritage root vegetable, as well as fillet of sea bream, mushroom veloute, crushed olive and confit garlic potato. There are vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu too.
The desserts include our very own Christmas pudding with brandy custard and, for those who love their chocolate, a mousse with rumtopf soaked seasonal dried fruits and a cardamon tuille.

Booking is essential. Our lunch time menu costs £20 per person for a two-course meal or £26 for three-courses. For dinner its £30 per head for three courses.
If you have any allergies, please inform us when you book. Many of our dishes we can adapt to be gluten free on request.
